Daytona Bike 1.

What would a  motorcycle, scooter and tuning show be without roaring engines, prominent guests, smoking rear tyres and hot dance interludes? Well, it wouldn't be SWISS-MOTO!

A look back

The "Daytona Bike 1" is anything but a conventional motorcycle. "It's a converted technical miracle incorporating all kinds of exceptional gadgets. A James Bond bike for all eventualities, as it were", explains Grisu Grizzly, alias Urs Pedraita, of Zurich. But it's not technical gimmickry that is the focus here but the necessary adaptations for his planned  "All Continental" world record attempt. On 11 March 2016, Urs set off on his round-the-globe tour at the Daytona Bike Week. Six continents in less than a hundred days taking the longest possible overland route. The current record stands at 120 days and two hours.
